In a daze, i managed to confuse which side was the breast side of the chicken. So, during the times i should have been cooking the chicken breast up, it was breast down. and vice versa. So the breast turned out with less crispy skin than it should have, and was a bit dry. Sigh. There's one more chicken...i'll get it right on the next one.
I feel like such a fool.
My favorite wine and some garlic bread made up for the somewhat faulty roast bird. And i have some great chicken stock made from the yummy giblets.
