i got my ibook back. It's still borken, although now it at least boots up. Apparently they replaced the logic board and battery assembly. I have no idea what a battery assembly is, but currently, the ibook fails to recognize the existence of the battery.

so this will be the fourth time that the poor little computer has made the trip to the repair shop. Almost every part has been replaced except for the screen, trackpad (and i think the trackpad is slightly screwy, and was broken after repair #1, but fixed by the guy at the apple store), and case. Some twice.

Is there some anti-lemon law when it comes to computers? Or should I try to get Apple to get me a new one? Ideally, Apple could buy me out for say, a $1200 credit towards a new powerbook...
