I have a brain which remembers everything that was ever said to me. However, it frequently fails to recall who it was that said what to me. As a result, the information is much less useful and often results in minor confusion (i also can't remember who i told what, but i can always remember what i told). I usually only piece together who i said it to by recalling the time/place/circumstances of the moment and guessing who was probably there.

Is this common? Does it mean i'm a self-centered listener or something? Or insane?
